Downtown Boca's parking situation on event nights is consistently difficult: the Mizner Park garage and street spots fill before showtime, and Federal Highway sees bumper-to-bumper traffic from Palmetto Park Road north through downtown.

FAU Stadium is the home of Florida Atlantic University Owls football and an increasingly active concert and event venue on the FAU campus — about 15 miles south of Coconut Creek via I-95 to Glades Road. The 30,000-seat stadium draws serious tailgate crowds for home games and hosts large-scale graduation ceremonies each May and December. Glades Road backs up from the I-95 on-ramp through the stadium entrance on home football Saturdays, and campus surface lots close to the stadium require FAU parking permits purchased in advance.
Charter buses use designated drop-off areas at the northeast side of the stadium near Gate 1. For FAU graduation ceremonies — when 5,000-plus family members descend on the same address on the same morning — a charter bus from Coconut Creek cuts out the parking permit battle entirely and keeps multi-family groups together from curb to ceremony.
